that's good. i am working on a project in which i will develop 6 lessons for the radio, but each lesson will be done in 3 different native languages, so i guess i'll end up speaking 4 languages, haha.

i can understand that, the u.s. government did a solid job eliminating the spiritual and cultural practices and beliefs of most Native peoples. for my tribe, we were pretty isolated in the siskiyou and cascade mountains, so we didn't even get too much white contact until the gold rush. check it out the area sometime, you can see a lot of my tribes cultural and ceremonial pictures at www.ncidc.org

that's really cool. it is worthwile to learn, at least as much as you can. it will really help to understand the cultural differences. at least it does for me.

that's really cool! do you know any of the language? i teach our native language, my sons are learning both Karuk and English, soon to learn Yurok (neighboring tribe, and spanish).
